Sloopopvolgingsplan bij infrastructuurwerken

Through the demolition follow-up plan, we want to obtain a maximum image of the waste materials that will be released during the clearance or demolition. This applies to buildings, but also to exterior pavements. A demolition monitoring plan must be included in the environmental permit for demolition:

  • Non-residential buildings with a building volume over 1,000m³

  • Residential buildings with a building volume over 5,000m³

  • Infrastructure works with a volume over 250m³

A demolition follow-up plan is good for both the environment and wallet. With a clear view of the building, selective demolition can be set up with all the associated advantages: lower processing costs for the stony fraction, avoidance of offsetting during the actual demolition, exploration of the second-hand market for recovered materials, and so on ...

The things we need to be aware of when working on infrastructure

A distinction is made between infrastructure works:

  • Road and sewerage works

  • Car parks lance highways, etc.

  • Waterway infrastructure (waterways & sea canal)

In the case of car parks and others, extra attention is paid to pollution caused by leaking vehicles.

Our approach

On the basis of the supplied data, our experts draw up a preliminary study (road history, information on road construction, information on utility pipelines and regional risks) and determine how many drillings should take place. Our fieldworkers visit the site themselves to carry out the required drilling, draw up a drilling profile, collect samples and photographic material. Asphalt cores and asbestos suspect material will be sent to the lab for analysis. Asphalt undergoes tests to determine whether or not it contains tar.

With the data of our fieldworkers and the results of the lab, Profex draws up a demolition follow-up plan for the customer. This plan shows in detail which materials are released (inventory) during demolition and whether there is any presence or absence of suspicious waste materials.

A demolition follow-up plan can always be combined with a technical report when earthmoving is required. When the earthmoving exceeds 250m³, a technical report is required. Our team of soil experts has extensive experience with conforming technical reports. You can therefore rely on Profex for both the technical report and the demolition follow-up plan.
